Next Monday in New York City: Phil Tippett at MoMA

Special effects for film is getting a spotlight at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City. Next Monday, October 1, the museum will present a conversation with visual effects legend Phil Tippett.

Per the museum's description of the event:

In addition to the conversation, that begins at 7pm, the museum will also present an afternoon screening of Paul Verhoeven's Starship Troopers (1997) that will be introduced by Tippett and include 30 additional minutes of rare production footage.
