Watch: The first trailer for "Despicable Me" spin-off "Minions"

We've got our first look at Illumination Entertainment's Minions, the spin-off/prequel to the studio's massively popular Despicable Me franchise. Animated at Illumination Mac Guff in Paris, Minions will be released on July 10, 2015, by Universal. Pierre Coffin and Kyle Balda direct the film from a screenplay by Brian Lynch. Chris Renaud, who co-directed the Despicable Me films and voices the Minions with Coffin, is exec producing the new movie.
