Trollhunters is the top 6 creative arts emmys on all TV shows
Dreamworks Animation claimed nine awards at the 44th annual Daytime Creative Arts Emmy Awards, presented last Friday at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium.
Dreamworks' Trollhunters, based on a book by Guillermo del Toro, topped all individual programs, both animated and live-action, with six wins. It won four of the seven categories it was nominated in, as well as two additional juried awards for individual achievement in animation.
Del Toro tweeted a photo of the winning crew with their Emmys:
More animation notables: Amazon's Lost in Oz: Extended Adventure won three Emmys, while the following animation projects won two apiece: The Mr. Peabody & Sherman Show, The Snowy Day, and Beat Bugs.
