Phil Lord and Chris Miller (directors, The Lego Movie; producers, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, The Mitchells vs. The Machines) are producing the film, as part of their first-look deal with Universal. The film was originally developed by Erik Feig's Picturestart.
Other producers include the director Greenbaum, as well as Louis Leterrier and Aditya Sood, the latter of whom is president of film at Lord Miller.
Executive producers are Jessica Switch and Niki Baida (Lord Miller). Julia Hammer co-producers for Picturestart. Overseeing for Universal are Jeyun Munford (senior vp production development) and Tony Ducret (director of development).
