The year is 2052 – an era of unprecedented peace and prosperity is spreading around the world. The reason for this: Humanity was freed from disease and pain. Three years later, the world moved on. But, doctor. Skinner is back – this time, as a harbinger of fate. Skinner announced that the half-life of hapna is short. Anyone who took it will die about 3 years later. Death is coming for this sinful world - and is coming soon.

In response to this threat, a special task force of five agents from around the world has been assembled to save humanity from Skinner's plans. This group is called "Lazarus"."They can find skinners and develop vaccines before the time runs out-

Billed as a "High-octane Action" series, the show features scenes designed by John Wick director Chad Stahelsky. The Lazarus score includes the music of major jazz and electronic artists, including saxophonist Kamasi Washington, producer, DJ and musician Floating Point, producer, DJ and musician Bonobos.

In the release, adult swimming head of the anime and action series Jason Demarco said: Watanabe is one of the great living artists, and being able to collaborate with him in a new original series is a dream come true. Like all of his works, Lazarus is packed with big ideas, incredible characters and lots of hearts.

Watanabe said, "As I embark on this creative journey, I feel that this project will serve as the culmination of my career so far, I hope you will enjoy it."”
