Apple TV+ will debut 2 new Peanuts specials and a new series "Camp Snoopy" this summer.

Apple TV+ announced the summer kids and family programming slate, highlighted by a trio of new Peanuts productions.

The new original Peanut title includes special Snoopy Presents: The Only One Mercy and Snoopy Presents: Welcome Back, Franklin, and the new series Camp Snoopy. The Snoopy Show, each produced by Wildbrain and winner of this year's Canada Screen Awards best animated series, will be back in Season 6-9 for Season 3.

Premiered on 8/18, Snoopy Presents: The introverted Marcy, who was elected as the only One Marcy Star Class President, a position she did not expect nor want.He knew that he was working for him, he knew that he was working for him. Thrust into the public eye, Mercy has to juggle her new responsibilities along with previous commitments while dealing with the discomfort of so much attention.

Snoopy Presents: Welcome back, Franklin is the origin story of its titular protagonist. Franklin, the son of a military man, is regularly uprooted and forced to make new friends at a new school. Struggling to fit in with the Peanut gang, Franklin's breakthrough comes when he teams up with Charlie Brown to take part in the Soapbox Derby race

at Camp Snoopy, where the story of 2 parallel summer camps unfolds. For one thing, Snoopy and the Beagle Scouts set out to earn the performance badges they need to save their troops. Meanwhile, the Peanut gang enjoys a typical summer camp adventure at Camp Spring Lake.

Cartoon Brew's View: The release date for Skydance's next animated feature Spellbound has not yet been announced, but the film will get an ongoing panel at Annecy and should debut later this year.
