Behind the scenes on Netflix - My Father Bounty Hunter - at the Dwarf Animation Studio – video exclusive.

Several titles from Netflix's upcoming original animated Slate are as hot as the family action-adventure series My Dad The Bounty Hunter.

Following the series preview during an Annecy Studio presentation last week, Netflix has given Cartoon Brew exclusive access to the behind-the-scenes look as the show's executive producers Everett Downing and Patrick Harpin visited the show's production studio, Dwarf Animation Studio, on the outskirts of Montpellier, France. He gave access.

In the video, first-person testimony about the animation process of the series is provided by Dwarf employees, including the supervisor of the synthesis department Arnaud Boudon, animation directors Pascal Ropars and Jean-Yves Audouard, and Environment and props director Nicolas Carrié.

In addition to comments from the crew, Downing and Harpin talked about the look and feel of the show, with the former saying "things like animation, science fiction and love letters to black families got caught up in this crazy, action-packed comedy."For his part, Harpin cites influences including the Last Starfighter, the John Carpenter movie, and the fifth Element.

The cast of My Dad's Bounty Hunter voice includes Raz Alonso, Yvonne Orji, Priya Ferguson, Yvette Nicole Brown, Jacoby Swain, Leslie Uggams, Rob Riggle and Jim Rush.

The series will premiere on Netflix worldwide in 2023.
