Disney Debuts First Look at "Ducktales" Reboot

Disney XD has released a first look at the reboot "Ducktales."

The series will be produced by Disney Television Animation in Burbank, CA.

Disney XD also announced today that the series has been picked up for a second season. The first season is scheduled to begin this summer.

Matt Youngberg ("Ben 10: Ultimate Alien," "Transformers: Animated") will serve as executive producer, Francisco Angones ("Wonder Over Yonder") is story editor and co-producer and Sean Jimenez ("Gravity Falls," "Fishhooks") will serve as art director.

The original "Ducktales," which ran for 100 episodes beginning in 1987, was a well-made show for its time and ushered in a new era of quality animated television in the 1990s.
