First "Powerpuff Girls" Reboot Video Released

Cartoon Network teased the first footage of the "Powerpuff Girls" reboot this morning with a clip from the episode "I'm Not a Princess" featuring a villain named Manboy who has vowed to turn Townsville into the city of Mansville.

The series is set to launch this spring:

The network announced earlier this week that the series will have its world premiere at SXSW next month in Austin, Texas. The series' executive producer and co-executive producer are Nick Jennings of "Adventure Time" and "Wow! WOW! Wabsy!" and Bob Boyle of "Wabuzzi!

The first Powerpuff short, created by Craig McCracken, aired on Cartoon Network 21 years ago this month.
