Over the Garden Wall," "Steven Universe" and "Wonder Over Yonder" are first-time Emmy nominees

Nominees for the 67th Primetime Emmy Awards presented by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences were announced this morning. [They include "The Simpsons," "South Park," "Archer," "Robot Chicken," "Adventure Time," "Bob's Burgers. Rebecca Sugar's Steven Universe and Craig McCracken's Wonder Over Yonder received series nominations for the first time this year.

Another pleasant surprise: Patrick McHale's "Over the Garden Wall," Cartoon Network's fantastic miniseries that successfully crosses audience demographics and genres without losing its balance, was nominated in the Animated Program category with a Nominations.
