M.A.M.O.N." short film presents the ultimate battle: Mexicans vs. Mecha-Trump
"M.A.M.O.N.-Monitor Against Mexicans Over Nationwide," a VFX film that pokes fun at U.S. presidential candidate Donald Trump's stance on immigration and his proposal to build a wall between the United States and Mexico, has received over 1 million views since it was posted on YouTube 10 days ago. since it was posted on YouTube 10 days ago.
The short movie features a hilarious, raging battle between a giant mecha-tramp and "stereotypical" members of the Mexican and Latino communities (quinceaƱeras, quetzalcoatl, lucha libre, mariachi, Chapulines Colorados, etc.).
The production team for M.A.M.O.N. is the Uruguayan production company Aparato. Directed by Ale Damiani, the film is part of the company's Wecanfixit project. Its mission is to "change the world with the geeky weapons of cinematography, visual effects, and CGI. Our motto is to make the world a better place one pixel at a time."
Aparato creates content in various forms of media, including motion graphics, visual effects, and 2D/3D animation, primarily for the South American market.
