While there are many awards that recognize animation projects, only a handful, like ASIFA-Hollywood's Annie Awards, recognize the personal achievements of the artists who created the animated films.

Each year we try to detail one of the individual achievement categories for the Annie Awards and showcase the nominated films. This year our category of choice is Storyboarding for Television and Media.

Nominated in this category are Emily Dean ("Love, Death and Robots"), Carl Hadrika ("The Cuphead Show!) ), Yoshiyuki Kaneko ("Cyberpunk: Edge Runner"), Grace Liu ("Kung Fu Panda: Dragon Knight"), and Mike Ruocco ("Looney Tunes Cartoon"). Below, the studios involved present each artist's nominated work.

Voting for the Annie Awards closes at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Standard Time on Sunday, February 19. The Annie Awards ceremony will be held on February 25 at UCLA Royce Hall in Los Angeles, California.
