Spring is renewal season, and several studios are hoping to renew older IPs with streaming availability beginning in May. Original productions are hard to come by, but they are available if you want to find them.

Among the hot newcomers to streaming this month are Disney+'s "Chip n' Dale: Rescue Rangers" hybrid reboot feature, Netflix's "Love, Death + Robots" season 3, Apple TV+'s Prehistoric Planet, a standout Dino series narrated by David Attenborough.

A note on the list: streaming operators often announce new animated features mid-month. In this guide, we list only those announced by streamers at the beginning of the month, but whenever possible, we try to update our schedule with any mid-month announcements.
