Sausage Party Foodtopia" series to begin July 11

"Sausage Party" series: the Foodtopia series will premiere on Prime Video on July 11.

Amazon will simultaneously release all eight episodes of the series, based on the 2016 feature film "Sausage Party," through 240 countries and territories worldwide.

Show synopsis:

Foodtopia follows Frank, Brenda, Barry, and Sammy as they attempt to build their own food society. The original cast of the feature film, Seth Rogen, Kristen Wiig, Michael Cera, David Krumholtz, and Edward Norton, return. Will Forte, Sam Richardson, Natasha Rothwell, and Yasir Lester will also lend their voices to the animated series.

The series will be executive produced by Ariel Shafir and Kyle Hunter, who will also serve as showrunners. (Conrad Vernon, who co-directed the feature film, returns to direct this series and will also serve as executive producer with Annapurna Television's Megan Ellison, Patrick Chu, and Andrew Milstein.

Other executive producers include Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, James Weaver, and Alex Makati via Point Grey Pictures; Foodtopia is Annapurna Television, Sony Pictures Television, and Amazon MGM Studios.
