Taika Waititi to write and direct "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" series for Netflix

The Roald Dahl Cinematic Universe is taking shape.

More than a year after Netflix announced that it would produce a new show based on the British writer's story, acclaimed writer-director Taika Waititi has been tapped for the first two series.
