1st Collision Award Winners Announced

The winners of the first annual Collision Awards have been announced. The awards, which celebrate excellence in animation and motion design in all its forms, were organized by the group behind the long-running Terry Awards.

Awards were presented across six major categories: Marketing & Communications, Film, Television, Commercials, Experiential, and Games & XR. The organization has not announced the number of entries, but the entry fee ranges from $125 to $275. Recipients must pay an additional fee to receive the physical award.

“We are truly impressed with the level, quality, and variety of work and applicants in our first season,” said Randeep Khatari, general manager of the Collision Awards. Our goal was to establish the concept of the medium of animation across a wide range of media and disciplines, and we feel we are getting closer to achieving that goal.” From major international productions to localized campaigns, the winners exemplify that animation is a truly global medium, and we look forward to what the future holds for animation.”

The Collision Awards winners will be celebrated with a screening and reception next Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at the Elinor Bunin Munroe Film Center at Lincoln Center in New York City.
