Indian VFX Studio Basilic Fly Invests in London Studio One Of Us

Basilic Fly, a VFX studio based in Chennai, India, has acquired a majority stake in London- and Paris-based studio One of Us.

The merger of the two companies will bring the total number of employees to over 900. [Since founding Basilic Fly Studios with my colleagues in 2013, we have always wanted to create an international partner for the film, TV and streaming industry, and today's deal with One of Us is an important milestone in this vision. Over the years we have worked together on several projects and we know each other very well. It was immediately clear that we share a belief in the central role of talented artists within a broader vision and culture. Throughout our relationship, we have been blown away by the skill of the 'One of Us' team and are confident that with the talent of the BFS team, we can accomplish great things."
