NowWhat!-Starting a series of shorts on political issues

0] A new non-profit organization launched by Six Point Harness founder and CEO Brendan Burch, “Now What! -” is ‘dedicated to encouraging young people to participate in the political process through laughter and compelling storytelling’

“We want to meet young people where they are, and that means leaning on humor and smart storytelling to tackle tough subjects,” Burch said in a statement. We aim to bring the same energy and variety as our Adult Swim-style cartoons, but we're doing it specifically to inspire our younger constituents.” Our mission is to both entertain and educate, but most of all to remind people that their vote is a powerful tool to shape the future.”

The organization today released its first series of short films on Youtube. Directed by industry artists Kate Purdy, Amy Hewett, and Grant Lindahl, the cartoons focus on issues such as reproductive rights, voter suppression, and gun control. A fourth short film on wealth inequality will be released later this month. The short film, “Stop It with the Voting,” directed by Purdy (“Undone,” “Bojack Horseman”), is available below:

The organization is registered as a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, Titmouse, Oddbot, Nathan Love, It is raising funds through its website to produce additional shorts with partner studios including Titmouse, Oddbot, Nathan Love, and Powerhouse Animation.

Now What! -'s board of directors includes prominent film and animation professionals such as Ollie Green, Jenica Gricias, Matt Danner, Duke Logan, Wendy Willis, David Hickton, and Samantha Scharf.
