Animation will appear on Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, Crunchyroll and more in 2022/10.

Looking for creepy animations to watch the leaves start to fall and pumpkins grow teething grin - we've compiled a list of animations that will appear on major streaming platforms in the lead-up to Halloween.

Netflix's schedule is packed with new animations as usual, but the coldest one seems to be Wendell & Wild, Henry Selick's upcoming feature that will be released to the platform on 10/28. Tonko House, who is an indie darling of the festival scene in the Dam Keeper series, will release the most ambitious production yet in the story of the Ogre: Raijin. The multi-Emmy award-winning comedy series Big Mouth is back in the new season, but TheOdd1sOut, one of the most successful animated Youtube channels in history, will premiere its first streaming series Oddballs. And Hamish Steele's Dead End: Paranormal Park could hit the spot for people in the Halloween spirit.

Hulu and Crunchyroll are bringing merchandise for anime fans on May 10. High-profile premieres shared across the two platforms include Chainsaw Man, Berserk: The Golden Age Arc-Memorial Edition, and Season 3's Mob Psycho100.

With the difficulty of finding animation on hbo Max, the service is paying lip service to artform with at least 2 interesting specials.Mickey Mouse Front: The History of American Animation and the Century of Animation Showcase: 1922-2022. Streamers also drop tricks or treat Scooby-doo. Just in time for Halloween.

Note on the List: Streamers often announce new animation releases in mid-May. Our guide only catalogs what streamers announce at the beginning of the month, but if possible, update the schedule if there are mid-month announcements If there are other US streaming services you want to see added to our line-up, share the comments below.
