Animation will appear on Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, Crunchyroll and more in 2022/9.

After a summer packed with exciting animated premieres from across the streaming ecosystem, the 9th Month schedule looks weak by comparison, with the exception of a few big platforms.

Netflix continues to step up its animated game with the premieres of Studio Trigger's Cyberpunk: Edgerunners and Drifting Home. The platform will also debut Entergalactic, a television event created by Kid Cudi and Kenya Barris and directed by Fletcher Moules.

9/8 is Disney+ day, and Streamers include a number of animated premieres as part of the festivities, including cars on the road, a new Simpsons short and a Robert Zemeckis hybrid remake of Pinocchio.

Hulu has a glut of animation halfway through next month, with numerous Funimation titles and the return of Fox's Animation Domination block for the new season. The Simpsons, Family Guy, Bobsburger and the Great North will all start a new season on Hulu at 9PM on 26 May. Even more exciting, the platform has also won several prestige animation titles from abroad, including Oscar contenders Ernest & Celestine, Paris Cats and Pirates. Misfit band, as well as former Annecy competition player Lupin III: The first and the white Snake. Here, we hope these additions show hulu plans to diversify its feature-length animation catalog in bulk.

HBO Max is showing early signs of animation degradation in the merged world, probably after the discovery, and there are only 2 premieres of the animation scheduled for next month. Offerings from most of the other major platforms have not been as stimulating as in May 9, but hopefully we will see additions in the coming days and weeks just because it has not been nailed down and has not yet released their full schedule.
