Seth MacFarlane says he is "embarrassed" to work at Fox.

Seth MacFarlane, Fox's most prolific animator, suddenly found himself embarrassed to work for the company that has paid him hundreds of millions of dollars over the past two decades. [The turning point for MacFarlane was a comment by Tucker Carlson, a commentator on the Fox News Channel. McFarlane described Carlson's remarks as "fringe shit" and tweeted, "This is the kind of business that makes me ashamed to work for this company." [His tweet has received more than 10,000 retweets and 40,000 likes since it was posted Saturday afternoon ]:

Fox has not released an official response to its rogue cartoon creator, but one of its longest-serving news executives, Michael Tamero, Fox News and Fox Business senior vice president and entertainment reporter) told MacFarlane, "Still..." He tweeted. Disney and Comcast are currently battling to acquire some of 21st Century Fox's assets! , including McFarlane's various low-budget shows, including "The Cleveland Show," but not Fox News or the Fox broadcast network.

MacFarlane's contract with 20th Century Fox TV ends in 2019. Last November, he changed agencies from WME to CAA to begin negotiations on a possible new umbrella agreement with Fox TV.
