Cartoon Network EMEA Picks Up First Danish Series "Prince Ivandoe"

Cartoon Network EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) will launch a new series in 2017: The Heroic Quest of the Valiant Prince Ivandoe, created by Danish animators Christian Borving-Andersen and created by Eva Lee Wahlberg.

Prince Ivandoe consists of ten three-minute episodes and follows the adventures of Ivandoe, a young forest prince. Ivando is given the mission by his father, the Mighty Stag, to retrieve a magical golden feather from the Eagle King.

Christian Borbing-Andersen and Walberg both graduated from the Animation Workshop in Viborg, Demark in 2012 and worked on Cartoon Network's The Amazing World of Gumball in London. Ivandoe is being produced by Copenhagen-based Sun Creature Studio ("The Reward: Tales of Alethrion") and is one of the few Cartoon Network series to be produced in Europe and CN's first Danish production It is one of the few Cartoon Network series produced in Europe and CN's first Danish production. Co-funding was provided by the Danish Public Service Fund. (The pilot episode of the series was produced by Copenhagen Bombay.)

The project will launch as both a linear series and an interactive online experience that allows viewers to participate in the adventures of Prince Ibando and his sidekick, Bert the bird The plan is to.
