Disney's "Pickles & Peanuts" Star Attacks Cartoon Blue Commentator

The voice of Peanuts in Disney's Pickles & Peanuts responded harshly to criticism on this website.

Last Friday we posted the first look at Disney's new series Pickles & Peanuts. Comments ranged from "IT LOOKS AWESOME!!!" to "why don't we stop these awful random cartoons.... " to "why don't we stop this awful random animation..." to the standard range of responses.

See also: however, Peanuts voice actor/comedian Johnny Pemberton, who apparently has never experienced online criticism, even this inoffensive one, took to his Twitter page tonight to criticize commenters on Cartoon Brew.

He used a crude sexual insult directed at Cartoon Brew readers to call our commenter a "cum guzzling troll," followed by suggesting that our commenter has a "negative follower/follow ratio," which He summed up his feelings. (The latter insult would probably sting more in Hollywood, where popularity is everything.)

Incidentally, Cartoon Brew's comment guidelines prohibit the use of personal insults/defamation, and Pemberton's comment would not have been approved had it been posted directly to our site.

Whether Pickles and Peanuts will be a quality show remains to be seen, but let's hope it is a good one for Disney TV Animation's PR department. Because their peanuts can't handle any criticism without resorting to Disney's unauthorized declarations about their ability to eat critics' semen.
