2019 Daytime Emmy Awards: 'Crow: The Legend' Tops Animated Category

Last Friday, the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences announced the winners of the 46th annual Daytime Emmy Awards. The Daytime Creative Arts Emmy Awards, which honors the underdogs, were held at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium.

Baobab Studios' CG short film Crow: Also, character designer Kal Athannassov and production designer Cody Gramstad won two awards for Outstanding Individual in Animation (The project was based on the Omega Omega Omega project. (The project was also released as an immersive VR experience on both the Oculus Rift and Oculus Go; Cartoon Brew reported earlier on the vr version.)

Several animated series won two awards each: Nickelodeon's "The Loud House," Netflix's "Ask the Storybots," Amazon's "Tumble Leaf," and Disney Channel's "Rapunzel's Tangled Adventures" on the Disney Channel.
