Horton Brothers, creators of “Big City Greens,” sign umbrella agreement with Disney TV Animation.

Brothers Chris and Shane Horton, creators of Disney Channel's hit series “Big City Greens,” have cemented their relationship with the House of Mouse; the two have been renewed for a third season, and producers of signed a comprehensive deal with Disney Television Animation.

Under the agreement, the Hortons will develop new animated series, shorts, and films for Disney Channel and Disney+, while continuing production on “Big City Greens,” for which they are executive producers The series, which premiered on Disney Channel in 2018 follows the adventures of a rural family in the city they call home. The brothers are also known for their comic book series “Reed Gunther,” a playful western featuring a cowboy on a bear.
