ASIFA-Hollywood Opens 52nd Call for Entries

The Annie Awards, the most important awards ceremony for the U.S. animation industry, opened its call for entries today.

ASIFA-Hollywood has set the date for next year's 52nd annual event on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at UCLA's Royce Hall.

The event considers awards in 37 categories for animated films released in the U.S. between January 1, 2024 and December 31, 2024. Exceptions are short films, special projects, sponsored films, student films, and films in competition at Annie Awards eligible festivals, regardless of whether they were released in the U.S. or not.

The deadline for submissions is October 30, 2024. Fees range from $150 to $275 per film, with discounts for early submissions.
