Calling all animators: Snapchat wants to produce your micro-budget comedy series!

Looking to expand its slate of original programming, Snapchat is turning to animation. The social app developer Snap Inc. is seeking projects for an animated comedy series. Up to 10 projects will be selected and each winner will receive $40,000 to produce a series of 10 episodes (2-3 minutes each).

Creators are asked to submit a pitch (1-2 pages) and are strongly encouraged to submit video material as well. The series must be conceived in Snapchat's signature vertical format and appeal to a core user group of 13-24 year olds. Submissions will be accepted here through August 26.
