A teaser video for "Moomooch - King of Plastic" is available.

Cartoon Movie kicks off next week in Bordeaux, France. Here is an exclusive sneak peek of MouMoush - The King of Plastic, one of the projects slated to pitch at this important event showcasing new European animated feature films.

MouMoush tells the story of siblings Margo and Liam, whose visit to their uncle leads them on a time-twisting adventure that pits the two and their uncle's talking cat against MouMoush, a man of unlimited power and wealth who dreams of world domination.

"MouMoush" is written and directed by Milorad Krsti? Krsti? is best known for writing and directing the feature film "Ruben Brandt, Collector," which was nominated for an Annie Award in 2019.

The project is geared toward children and families, but promises depth and action for everyone. The film will touch on a variety of topics, including modern science, the dangers that arise from misguided selfish ambition, and the long-term effects of plastic pollution.

The team at Mumus Production describes their approach to the film:

Instead of adopting the usual ecological perspective, the film presents a unique imaginary world with fairy-tale visual techniques and adventure. A world where evil (muumuu) tries to rule the universe while good triumphs and saves it. Joining forces with the adults, the bright and sensitive siblings succeed in saving the values of human culture from the fame-obsessed businessman Moomooch and the scientist Dr. Sinistrad, who uses science as a means to carry out his evil plans.

The "MouMoush" team arrived in Bordeaux with a complete script and has already secured half of the production budget. Representatives of the project intend to woo production partners, sales agents, and worldwide distributors.

Producer Radmila Roczkov told Cartoon Brew that Generation Alpha, born after 2010, will be immersed in digital and technology while becoming even more global and environmentally conscious than their parents They will be even more global and environmentally conscious than their parents.
