Sideshow and Janus Films to distribute Gins Zilvarodis' "Flow" in North America.

Latvian director Gints Zilvarodis' second feature film, "Flow," has been selected for North American distribution by Sideshow and Janus Films.

"Flow" just premiered in Un Certain Regard at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival and will screen in competition at the Annecy International Film Festival next month. 30-year-old Zilvarodis, like his earlier feature "Away," used virtual camera and real-time rendering techniques to create the He used virtual camera and real-time rendering techniques to achieve the final look of the film.

The world is coming to an end and is full of human remnants. Distributors Sideshow and Janus Films have called "Flow" "one of the most original films I've seen in a while" and are planning a theatrical release in North America. Janus is an iconic art house distribution company with a nearly 70-year history that focuses primarily on live action films, and its three-year-old partner company Sideshow has Academy Award nominee Ryusuke Hamaguchi's "Drive My Car," Jerzy Skolimowski's "EO, All That Breathe, directed by Shahnaq Sen, have been released.

Ron Dyans, producer of "Flow" and founder of Sacrebleu Productions, said on behalf of the filmmakers, "After the standing ovation we received at the Cannes Film Festival screening, we are delighted to place our We are delighted to entrust our little cat to them.
